This allows for a quiet setting where friends and families can gather to take a break from the hustle of life, have some fun, and make memories with one another. FRR offers unique outdoor experiences to all -- everything from trophy fishing, to hiking, biking, and ATV riding, to prized game hunting. You are sure to find something for everyone to do here at the ranch or you can opt to do nothing at all - life at the ranch is what you make of it. HUNTING
Fossil Rock Ranch, LLC only offers hunts through its exclusive outfitter, Prairie Fire Pheasants, LLC. Prairie Fire Pheasants offers pheasant, deer, duck, goose, antelope and other hunts. Their hunts include access to the ranch where your group will be the only hunters on site. Many of their offerings include meals and lodging, depending on your hunting preferences. Hunters are usually given time to fish in our stocked ponds and reservoir, or fill the day with other fun activities, such as trap shooting at our built in trap range. Members of FRR get discounted hunts through Prairie Fire Pheasants.

CABIN RENTALS
Come discover the ranch by renting a cabin site! Your rental includes access to the ranch, and all of our amenities, including the newly remodeled Marina with games for all, our shower houses, all outdoor areas, and access to the reservoir, ponds, and all hiking, biking and ATV trails. Our biggest cabin can sleep up to seven people, offering two bedrooms with a sleeping loft, full bathroom, and kitchen. Our smaller dry cabins offer bunk beds, a futon, and a kitchenette in each. Cabins include internet and AC - everything you need to retreat inside when the weather gets too hot! Two day minimum stays are required and cabins can only be booked for up to five night stays for the same party.

OUR STORY
Fossil Rock Ranch, LLC was formerly known as Cathouse Recreation Area. Cathouse Recreation Area began in the 1980s, offering a 65 acre reservoir and other fully stocked ponds to members for fishing. The area was also known for its 18 hole golf course, it's roping arena, and it's ATV course. Fossil Rock Ranch, LLC aims to continue the spirit of Cathouse Recreation Area by offering unique Southwest Kansas experiences to members and guests.
